Kingdoms 1.3 patch

My copy of Kingdoms informs me that it cannot install 1.3 over 1.2. Anybody else have this problem. Will I have to uninstall my game and reinstall befor einstalling Kingdoms?

Why do you need 1.3? Kingdoms is already patched to that.

As I understand it, the 1.3 patch is for non-Kingdoms owners who want to play Kingdoms owners. (I'd be interested to know any other changes in the 1.3 patch, apart from this compatibility one.)

Let me restate this clearer when I try to install Kingdoms, I get an error message telling me it can't install 1.3 over 1.2!

My installation of Kingdoms also installed 1.3 first. However, I had no problems at all (just took half an hour...) I was running 1.2 plain vanilla before. Have you done any modding?

It installs fine over a modded install as well actually, that is, unless you removed the pack files or altered them.

Are you using the original 1.2 exe or possibly a modified one?

I have the same problem whit my game. I just bought both of the games and when im trying to update MTW2 from 1.0 to 1.3 I just get error message.

I had major problems to get regular MTW2 to work and now its just stops working after about 15 turns in campaign.

I have the very same issue. The Kingdoms installer says that 1.3 can't install over 1.2.
