Dear All:

Good afternoon from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well. As for me, I could complain...yadda, yadda, yadda.

For openers, this for all of you who are playing as NEW SPAIN: Yesterday, I had been given a mission to meet with a tribe called the Chichimecs and do it in, I think, about 9 turns. The only problem is that my Spanish explorers won't go near the fog of war, and the Chichimecs are hidden in there, somewhere.

Question: What is the best way to cure my explorers of their slight fear of the dark?

For all you who are playing as THE TEUTONIC ORDER:I have been given a mission to help this British noble, named Charles, finish his mission under the Teutonic banner.

Question: Does this mean I have to wipe out every last Lithuanian going?

In closing, I have been recently awarded TWO Man of the Hour proclamations for my actions during the Crusades Campaign!!!! :beam:

Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!!!

Sincerely yours always,

Indy.

you move people into fog of war exactly the same as normal movement, the terrain is revealed as you near it. And about the Teutonic mission you just need to make sure the Englishman sees lots of battles while hes there so that he will give you more money when he leaves.

Oddly you can't click in the fog of war, only in the gray area in front of it, so you have to click over and over again to get them to reveal the black parts inch by inch.

the Crusading Englishman is supposed to stay for a finite amount of time then give you a lump of gold. I always get him killed in a turn or two though =P.

What really sucks is that the Lithuanians get a mission to kill him, but everytime my troops stick a sword in his face, I am told that he died and the mission is cancelled. I guess you have to assassinate him.

Dear All:

Just one quick question about the Spanish mission: Is there a quicker way to do it? I only had nine turns at last count.

Sincerely yours always,

Indy.

you could send him up the coast in a ship...if you can spare one from the shuttle-run back and forth from havana bringing fresh conquistadors etc.

I just wandered about randomly in the fog until the chichimec dude found me...
