Also, the first two members to sign in will be given the title of "Genesis" which will choose the first two teams of 8. After the two teams are chosen, the Genesis will either come up with a team name, choose another member of the team to come up with one, or request one from myself, in which I will consult with my right-hand-man *who's name shall remain anonymous* on what your name shall be.
Please add this thread to your Subscribed Threads section in your User CP, just so you can keep up with what's going on easier. If you'd like, I can create a signature banner for the 16 members, signifying that you're an official participant of this game. Just let me know, I enjoy graphic design.

That's why I was hoping for the even numbers... It will end up with either odd numbered teams, or the last person not picked for a team is already eliminated. I've seen both on the actually Survivor T.V. show.

If you've ever watched Survivor on CBS Television, it'll be similar like that.
It's a single elimination game where the members are split into teams and the winning team of the "challenge" I'll give to you will not have to vote a member of their team out, while the losing team will have to vote.
I think it's going to be fun, the only problem will be coming up with good challenges later in the game.

If you're going to pick a Rammstein song it should be something with a bit more flavor than Amerika. Der Meister is pretty nifty, or Das Alte Leid, or Herzeleid, or a lot of the other older stuff. Or even Links 2,3,4 and some of those newer but cooler tunes would work. Though I do like Amerika as well, it has some English lyrics and is thus inferior.

My names were just sort of random pairings of words. Any adjective and any noun can work if you do it this way, but it is key to find something humorous, and I also like to use alliteration.

No themes, because themes limit the creativity of people. Just make something up.

Mine are all pretty horrible, but at least I can giggle like a schoolgirl when I read them. That's really all that matters. I'm not dead-set on having them chosen, though it would be kind of nifty.

Shall be squaring off against each other in an arranged competition, hopefully displaying honor, courage, strength, willpower, balance, and determination. As well as some backstabbing, manipulation, and my personal favorite, blindsiding. Here's how it's going to work...
Each 24 hour interval we will be commencing in one of two different games phases. The first is called the Game Phase, which is when the two teams compete in a competition against each other to gain immunity from having to vote one of their team members out during the second phase.
The second phase is called the Voting Phase, which is when the team who lost the previous Game Phase votes a member of their team out of the game. This is decided based on ability, personal vendettas, or just a simple eeny meeny miny mo. Whichever you think works best at the time.
Game Phase 1 will begin in 35 minutes.
Let the games begin!!!
Your task as a team is to post the funniest Total War screenshot that you can come up with. I will only accept one picture from each team, so team members, talk amongst yourselves using either PM's or on this thread, and in 24 hours the two pictures from both team Leaders will be judged by myself and my four person team (which shall remain nameless).
I also don't care where these pictures come from, so the Funniest Screen Shots thread could be a good place to look, just make sure your picture is better then the other teams!

Here is it.
"... life without freedom or freedom without life?"
It may seem counter-intuitive, but I'd have to choose "Life without Freedom".
"Freedom without Life" is not freedom at all (not to mention no life at all). It is no freedom at all, because nothing challenges it. Having total liberty, without the constraints/context of human life makes that freedom uncomparable to anything-anyone else.
Whereas "Life without Freedom", although onerous, probably brutal, and likely short, at least offers me, the human, an opportunity to TAKE my freedom. To throw off the shackles of whatever-whoever it is that keeps me un-free.
That struggle might make me dead before my time, but at least it presents me with a choice (struggle to take my freedom vs move about quietly to continue breathing longer). The "freedom without life" option does not provide that.
"Live Free or Die!" as the Vermonters say. :)
