Baron Alliance [Archive]

I am playing a campaign as England and cannot get the Baron Alliance to appear. What should I do to get them to appear? Any ideas or suggestion would be nice.

I've raised taxes as high as they can go and put low loyalty generals in charge of stacks. All the generals do is go rebel so I am at a loss.

I have had some military success against Ireland but not Wales. Is there some sort of win/loss thresshould that needs to met?

AS far as I'm aware empty a city of troops with high taxes - any that rebel go baron's alliance rather than standard grey rebel (one of the features I really liked about BI - nice to see it again...)

If you´re playing England why would you want to make them appear in first place!?

England is big enough at the start and has enough high tech units to steam roll everyone else on the map. The Barons alliance would provide more of a challenge.

Yes I wanted more of a challenge. I also "gave" them the smaller cities in the north, which acted like a buffer between Scotland and me. I could then concentrate on Wales and Ireland.

Idea for a mod -

start the game c. 1215 and have the Barons in revolt from day one.

Would make playing England much more of a challenge. Currently it's more of a challenge to loose as England than win it.

(Strangely when I've played Scotland and Norway the English get stomped all over by the other factions before I finish them off.)

:furious3:u guys got to be kidding no challenge ur nuts or may be u guys just play on easy i play on hard theres a challenge how about that play on hard plus taking england is easy play as norway or scotland england pls pathetic i play as norway on hard and i could still play all day every day so pls u dont need the baron alliance just click hard and choose some other country than england

i play as the saxons in this campaign its 2000 times better than eng scot or norway and harder live on the saxons lol plus i destrio all other factions and exterminate their cities its awesome well payback
