preferences settigs

I'm trying to get a winning screen shot of the month
so I was looking in the preferences.txt file for any benefits on camera positions could any one explain these lines or maybe you have a few tips for that

I want to move the camera a little lower so I can have a shot from the ground upwards


preferences.txt lines:

CAMERA_FOV:75.000000

DISABLE_BACKGROUND_FMV:FALSE

TGA_CAPTURE_ASPECT:1.333333

GS_PIDS:FALSE
GS_PIDS_FULL:FALSE
GS_PIDS_CUR

has anybody any idea what these lines do

You may want to use the movie_cam?

Should work by adding: -movie_cam on the target line (found under properties) of your EB shortcut.

I already had that the only differences is that the red border line is gone but I was hoping that there was a text file for the camera wich you could edith

In a cutom battle replay you can make shots such as The Crossing, using movie_cam... and a little editing of course. ~;)

I should try that then never play those custom battles

I search the .org for this and there where couple of threads same as this one but nobody had a real answer

there was a line -ian for eagle view of the complete battle field but I couldn't get that working

So I think it is the RTW engine that doesn't support this type of groundlevel shot to bad

I will give it a try with the custom battle then
