Hi, I'm playing the Kingdoms campaign as the Principality of Antioch and strangely enough I can't seem to train Hospitaller Knights. I already have a few St John's Chapter Houses, one master chapter house in Krak des Chevaliers but nothing shows up on the unit training list. No Hospitaller Knights!?!

Am I missing something or is there another way of getting them?

Also, what do I need to train Marshall of the Hospitallers and Canons of the Holy Sepulcher?

I'd appreciate it if anyone can help. Cheers.

You get Hospitaller knights with the highest stables in castles or the best or second best barracks in cities in the crusades campaign. The guild houses just add boni to recruitment and income.

Ah I see, so I need to max out my stables then. Odd thing is in the info scroll, I didn't see Hospitaller Knights listed as a trainable unit from the highest level stable. Could be a small mistake by the devs?

Also since Canons and Marshalls are unique and that you can only have one of each at a time, how do I get them again if ever I lose them?

Did no one else have this issue?

I just played for a short time and never used the special units, so I don't know how you get them back. And IIRC the Hospitaller knights are listed in the highest stables, they're somewhere in the middle of the unit list for me. The city barracks of a metropolis can recruit them as well. IF they really don't show up something is very wrong since they were definitely listed there for me.

I belive those 2 units are so freaking awesome you need to get REAL badly beaten before you would lose all of them... But someone could try what happens if you lose them.
And they can only be retrained in big enough Castle. Krak des Chevaliers for example.

Nope the unique units can be retrained anywhere. I retrained my Constable of Jerusalem in a Castle and a large town.

Hey thanks for clearing things up guys.

I double checked again and indeed the Hospitaller Knights can be trained with Earl Stables and above. Must've missed it, my bad. :P
