i like mine without a U :laugh:
but seriously, i like slapstick and sexual humor... thats why my favorite show is robot chicken.
Sillyness and slapstick (whom go hand in hand oft times). And ultra violence, aways bring a smile to my face.
This for example has all three! (I find it quite hilarious)

So dry that it's rarely seen as humourous. Either that or positively ludicrous (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rncYlWl0RVU).

Sarcasm, wit, sadism.
Anything that causes unhappiness in other people.

Same here, pretty much :yes:
Sarcasm, too - especially if I'm the source :grin2:
Satire and sarcasm. I know a guy who has the driest sense of humour, hilarious! I used to like slap-stick, but not really anymore.
Dry humour. I also like sarcasm :yes: And absurd humor :yes:

That is a strange atitude. :P
I like the dry, Euro sense of humor.

sarcasm and selfhumour... i mean when you make jokes about yourself... zelfspot in dutch
when I make jokes myself they are usually as dry as the sahara...
The kind that makes me laugh, but it is funny how country's have different types of humor.
I think,
American humor, self-relativating, lots of irony, kinda vulgar.
French humor, situational absurdism
Dutch humor, multi-layered, agressive and vulgar, but unlike americans we make fun of others isntead of ourselves.
German humor, the french variety, but more subtle, holding back.
English humor, situational nonsensesicalism, lots of irony.

Extremely politically incorrect humor is my style and staple. On the Internet, the humor I like is the kind of humor (and sites) that would get me warned on here ~;p
And, of course, Jewish ashkenazi humor: extreme cynicism. Hey, can't help it after two milennia of oppression, eh?
I like it dry, absurd, ironic and satiric sometimes sarcastic (but not to much of it). I also like running jokes a lot.

Sarcastic is my favourite type of humor. Totally hilarious, I only like. Also dry humour fits me.
But sarcasm beats everything... Especially if it's witty sarcasm.

US English labels that "Self-deprecating" humor.

Very dry and sardonic for the most part. I also appreciate the bizarre and unexpected, such as the wisdom of Jack Handey. And I think fusing irony with puns raises both sorts of humor to a higher level.

Black, satiric, sarcastic, cynical, sadistic, nothing is holy, ironic, dry, angry, nonsensical, weird etc. You know, that kind of humour.
Anyway, I'm particularly fond of stand-up comedy (mostly Dylan Moran and Bill Hicks), but I laugh at a lot of stuff obviously. I can't stand puns and traditional American comedies (you know, those with Will Smith, Ben Stiller or Jim Carrey) though.
And I love the site which name I cannot say, according to rules 1 and 2. Some of you might know which site:book:

Always been a fan of the North Eastern American sense of humor. Comics that rant more than joke around, the Boston and NYC street comedian types. Here's one of my current favs, doing more of a tame routine than usual (his best stuff is a bit too profane for the Org, kinda hard to find on youtube anyway)

Never heard of him. I like absurdity and irony most. Also, a good shock outta nowhere can get me laughing pretty well if its done right. Generally, vulgar humor doesn't impress me as much. A couple examples of ads that I find funny.

Australians will get it.
I like intelligent humor. Something that someone has obviously invested time into , preparing it and working on their delivery. Anybody can dance on stage, not everybody can be clever.
My current favorite is Demetri Martin. If you haven't heard of him, a lot of his stuff is up on youtube. His special "Person." is quite good.

Yes, I have heard of him if you refer to the Canadian-Indian comedian. There was one show I saw which was very good (as he talked about anybody; whites, blacks, asians, etc.).
I forgot which one it was and it is the only show from him I saw that I actually enjoyed. I think he's good, but not that good.
---
Black humour is my kind, involving fear, death, and the likes (though there have been enough shows in which I almost entirely (or totally) dislike it).
Also generally:
* cynicism
* wordplay
* intelligent humour
* satire (only if done well)
* stupidity

Those rants arent meant to be funny thats just how we are.
What kind of humor, i dont know you ever laugh when you see someone fall and get injured? Not the nervous laugh from anxiety hoping that it isnt serious, but the "wow that looked funny, what a dumb ####" type of laugh.
thats my brand, I'll be at the improv through next week, tickets at the door are 20.00 but for you its 22.50....

I like most kinds...ridiculous observations or comments are maybe my favorite though. I also really like the humor you get among a group of people who have known each other for a long time and can joke around.
Steven wright, mitch hedberg, and jack handey fall into the first category.
"24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?"--steven wright
"I have an existential map. It has "you are here" written all over it.--steven wright
"I order the club sandwich all the time, but I'm not even a member, man. I don't know how I get away with it."--mitch hedberg
"The crows were calling his name, thought Caw"--Jack Handey

I also really like Steven Wrights delivery

I like the kind that makes me revolted and want to throw up and a day later want to see if I can do it too.
