Im trying to Uninstall and reinstall the game again..But it will not let me at all ive had this happen before and i dont know what i did to make it work..I go to add and remove and it loads up half way then disappers..i went to my computer and in the root menu and clicked the RTW icon to try and remove it that way when the game start up menu comes up and it gives me an error saying Failed to initialise 3d audio! wtf is that? I could go in and delite all the fiels but then the icon would be stuck in add and remove and id never beable to re-install the game again:furious3: it wont let me remove the 1.3 patch and the EB part just disappers..this is very odd:wall: Can someone pleaes tell me how to rid this thing off my computer so i can do a clean re install?

Sounds like a registry problem.

This ( https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...=clean+install) may help you. Thanks to Bovi for the link, not me.

EDIT: Hmmm, after checking the link, I couldn't find the relevant article. I do know it's a registry problem, so maybe Bovi could help you further.

Or you might consider googling clean install or windows registry problems....something along those lines.

I shall try it..ty..

Seems to be a game site but i found no post about fixing anything..if i could just get rid of that icon and delite the files it would be gone me thinks..Ack i need to upgrade..

Icon meaning the one in Add and remove programs..as well as the patch and the EB mod then i think id be ok...grrr!

One would think you were able to operate Google... http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&q=rtw+registry+clean&btnG=Google+Search

Did you move or rename your RTW installation or anything? If so any uninstallers will be trying to uninstall the wrong directories, so you'd have to change them back, or as previously mentioned, update your registry so everything is pointing to the right place.
