It's all pretty much in the title but I am looking for something with a maximum flight of 2.5 hours from London or Bristol and it should be cheap drink.
There'll probably be 3 couples going and we have been to Prague, Budapest, Barcelona before, we are aiming for no more than £250 each.
So, any suggestions?

Never been myself, but have heard good things about Krakow or Warsaw, both pricewise and for fun.
There are Jazzclubs in Prague, if you like Jazz, been to one when I was there with my history course from highschool. Might be worth considering.

If your sole aim is inebriation, why not save the money you'd spend on the flight, buy some cheap gin, and go to Brighton. Once you're all soused, Brighton will no doubt be exciting enough.

Or better yet, wait a couple of months and do a pub crawl up in Oulu!
Honestly, for your budget, you're talking Europe. Haven't been to Eastern. Everywhere I've been in most of western or central will be too expensive. Let me suggest what I call the European N'awlins. Tribesman's city, Galway.

Paris. Alright, so you might not want a slice of Scotland away from home, but
you know that party is going to last for a long time.
[Note, you may want to disregard my contributions for the next 12 hours, I'm
in the recovery phase.]
Well look where you are and think "Where around me is notorious for having many pubs and people who drink a lot?"
I'll give you a hint, it's an Island.
I'll give you another hint, Tribesman is from there. :sweatdrop:

Seconded. I have never been drinking this much before I moved to Helsinki and begun Uni studies...
If you decide to go to Helsinki, what you should do is find some friendly Finn who knows the area (Kage, me, etc.), buy him a beer (thus establishing a long and drunken friendship) and do a pub crawl with him (buying him beers in most pubs to strengthen the aforementioned friendship).
Prague I would say. Excellent beer & very nice city. Stay away from the tourist places when going out for a drink & all of you will be fine 4 drinking. And check a cheap hotel!
I visited Prague for New Year´s Eve two times and it was a lot of fun.

Some place where the beer flows and the women look good without beer goggles is a sure bet :medievalcheers:

Lol, thanks for the suggestions.
I've been to Prague twice and Ireland is a bit expensive once you get there so I reckon Krakow is at the top of the list so far, but, how much is the alcohol in Finland?

I second The Mark´s statements. Ja'chyra, about the prizes: A half liter pint of beer in restaurant cost´s from 2 to 5 euros, ofcourse depending on the place. Drinks 4 and up from there.~

As Ja'chyra noted , Ireland is not cheap , then again Galway is cheaper than Dublin (which is just London with a different accent and higher prices) .
However he can fly direct to town from London or Bristol and there are over 300 pubs in walking distance .

Argh! Standards? Standards don't get you drunk or *****.

The local custom to save money in bar crawling is to buy a little starters ("perjantaipullo") from a liqueur store (Alko) or cheaper beer from markets. Especially useful for us students.
Btw. Kagemusha, Molly Malone's is positively huge. It just keeps on going... couldn't really believe my eyes nor feet when I followed the white rabbit to see how long the hole goes on.

Buy a bunch of cheap beer and go camping somewhere secluded:
Advantages: really cheap, being outdoors is really nice, campfires are fun, and you are surrounded by urinals in every direction.
