I just want to give The floks at CA "Three cheers" for the work on Medieval and their involvement in this forum, and taking an interest in us (the players)

The participation on the forums by the CA programmers is greatly appreciated, and will go a long way toward helping make MTW a success. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend MTW to people I know with this kind of participation by CA.

Funny how quickly people change their views.....

Where's the change of views? It is always appreciated when people from the game company actually take the time to read/post in the forums used by their fans. I don't think anyone's been upset because they're here, only upset when they weren't around.

i think it's also VERY worth mentioning here that the game not only came out on time, but a couple days ahead of schedule. the demo had a blurb saying the 23rd of august and we (in the states) got it on the 21st! well done!

and no, monsta, this wasnt a covert attempt to emflame you further ;)

Yeah, i must say i was absolutely floored by the release date thing... although i suspect it was more of a ploy than anything else. EB still showed the game as coming in on the 21st, even though the official announcement said the 23rd.

All i know is that if my company was having a hard time with release dates in the past and i wanted my next release to be as successful as possible, i might have gone about it the same way.

This is not to say that there was definitely any complicity on the part of devs/publishers, but it's pretty darned coincidental.... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

Totaly agreed Lahll.

Let me sincerely say that CA team is a bunch of brillant fellows.
A "Total War" Game style has emerged & it's just become the World reference for strategy games... Long live the Total War creators !

Question : What is the age average in CA team ? From which generation are you guys ?

Three Cheers for CA and for its fan community.

Great job and congratulations to the Ladies and Gentlemen of CA. You did a phenominal job on MTW.

My only complaint at this point is that I don't have enough time to play the thing. Can you put a fix for that in the first patch? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

We vary from mid-20s to mid-40s. I'm 32. I'll let the others admit to their ages if they want to http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

When I first played STW, I thought it would never get any better. I could not have been more mistaken. The battles in MTW are still amazing with the addition of artillery being a real improvement, & the strategy side is vastly improved.

Congratulations, CA, on a wonderfully polished & addictively immersive game.
