Hey, I was wondering if there's a way to limit the amount of Kensai, Battlefield Ninja and Geisha during the game? I want some sort of maximum limit for them, would that be possible?

Hello Wasp,

STW has files that influence the factions choice to build structures (required to recruit). building_choice.txt

There ara also files like anti_units.txt (is supposed to influence the battleAI) and opp_invasion_thresholds.txt/major_invasion_thresholds.txt.

I'm not sure they actually work at all and it will only influence the preference at best, not hard limit.

DOC aka Jambo did some work on these things to improve the campaign, he got some feedback from a CA developer (Target?) about how things worked. The topic(s) are still in the Dojo forum. I'll post the link when I find it.

Interesting, I'll look into those and see if I can get some results. An AI preference would be enough I think, since I can just pretend a limit for myself.

If you find those links I'd be happy to see them. Thanks already for the help, TosaInu!

Should be very helpful, thanks a lot! It'll take me some time to get through it all, though, but that's alright - means more insight in the game!

For those interested, this thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=11347) has a good bulk of information about the files. Just thought I posted it for quick reference.
