Help with Rome Menus

Hi everyone.

I just instaled the Rome TW, and i have this problem in the game:

Everything is normal during campaign/battles/etc.

This "bug" is only in the menus. :help:

I'll try to be more constructive.

I sometimes have the similar problem with RTW game menus on my notebook. However, on my desktop PC the menus are all fine and clear. Weird isn't it?

Did you install the game on a notebook? If so, then this could be some kind of a videocard issue methinks. Although I'd like to hear other people's opinion.

Try checking your graphics acceleration. There are some options that disable mouse cursor acceleration. Right click desktop > properties > settings > advanced > troubleshoot and find a box called Hardware acceleration. Bring it to max.

I'm not sure if the problem is solved in the other thread - seeing as I don't know what the other thread is, but this problem is usually caused by something silly like Windows Media Player. If you haven't already, upgrade WMP and the problem should resolve itself. That fixed it when it happened to me, and I know others have had similar success with that method. I'm not saying it's a guarantee solution or the cause of the problem though.
