After finishing my first Teutonic Campaign, I am interested in any books written about that time. Any ideas?

I checked the back of the manual to see if there were any historical books that the team used for reference, but there is none listed.

I've already read two different books about the Crusades which helped immerse me in the game a little more.

I cannot remember book, but i know a great old movie filmed by Eysenstein and called " Aleksander Nevsky " This is about Novgorod vs Teutonic order and battle on Piepus lake. This movie is a classic, so it must be in every serious DVD-rent shop.

If you like in-depth campaign coverage with pretty pictures, try Osprey Publishing's Tannenberg 1410 (by Stephen Turnbull, 2001) and Lake Peipus 1242 (by David Nicolle, 1996).

If you can read German, an excellent recent comprehensive history of the Teutonic Knights is Hermann Schreiber's Preussen und Baltikum unter den Kreuzrittern; Die Geschichte des Deutschen Ordens.

Otherwise I'm sure a quick search on Amazon will reveal some general histories, usually at a decent price.
