playing without cd?

I just got kingdoms and i was woundering if i can play it without the cd?

Because I can with Medieval total war 2

r u sure? i dont have the kingdoms yet but i was not able to play medieval 2 without the disk i mean u can take it out after it launches but u cant start without it. For kingdoms i think u did not read the thread on securom they have put an undeletable programme on it which prevents u from playing the game without the original disk, but anyway you must read that thread buddy.
