Lowering the amount of memory for PCI textures in the Diect 3D settings to practically zero worked for me. The battle of jaffa now runs silky smooth. I'm running the game in 1024 (battlefield res) with low sound settings
My systems is:
Athlon 900MHz
256 RAM
GeForce 3 Ti200
Windows 98 se
I wasn't going to buy mtw because of the slow down problems in battles because to me it was unplayable - now I can't wait for the UK release..
See you on the battlefield.....
I was wondering if you could tell just how I could do that (lowering PCI textures memory).
My system is:
Pentium 3 750 MHz
128 RAM
NVidea Riva TNT2 64 (32 mb)
Windows 98se
...and I have to shut down everything running and run it in 800-600 to get Jaffa a bit smoot. I know my comp is up to hard times with Medieval coming, but I hope he can handle it.
And maybe your solution helps me too, so your help would be appreciated.
Thanks
