What I want is this: I take a picture, it shows in fullscreen on my laptop.
what I've got is this :
Nikon D50
USB-mini USB cable
Laptop (2 gig RAM, 1800 GHZ)
I can open windows explorer and it shows the pictures in small format, but I want them to instantly appear in fullscreen.
Anyone got an idea or software for this?
Thanks

You want to display the picture from the memory card, or after it is downloaded to the PC? I'm not 100% sure on this, but usually cameras go into "PC mode" when plugged into the USB, and you can't take new pictures in that mode.
My dad has a D-200 and I think there was a program on the CD that does exactly what you want, though I don't recall it's name, guess I can ask him.

Check out "Nikon Camera Control Pro"
From here (http://community.mpix.com/forums/p/50171/449792.aspx).
I use Nikon Camera Control Pro and a D200 with a WT-3a wireless transmitter. The image comes up full screen on my Mac Book Pro. This software gives you full control of the D200 from the notebook. You can also use a Cat 5 or USB cable. The photo is not saved to the CF card but saved directly to the Mac. I'm sure Canon has something similar.
