Hanseatic League

I'm in the middle of my Teutonic Campaign, and i was just wondering when the Hanseatic league is supposed to pop up, cause i cann't manage to bolster my economy enough to counter all the really tedious Horse archer stacks the paegens keep throwing at me. Do i need to conquer all the cities, ie Danzig, Hambourg and Novgorod etc. in order to trigger the hanseatic league? Need help fast, cause am still fighting the Lithuanians the Danes, Novgorod and the Mongols!

According to the manual, the 5 key cities are announced early in the campaign (before turn 25 i believe) Whoever controls the most of them "has the best chance" of being offered the guild, so it doesn't sound like a guarantee

Quess its somekind of point system like for guilds.
1 gives = X points
2 gives = 2X points etc.
And when you have enough points it pops up.

I've got it twice with I think 3 out of 5 cities... not danzig and novgorod. Both times a few turns after the message, maybe tun 30-40 or something like that. Each time it has oppped in a mentioned city, Hamburg and Visby for me. Perhaps you need to not have a guild in the cities of the league that you control, I don't know.
