Anyone elsee find it annoying to have all of these princesses and emissaries all over my lands. Oneof my castles has 4-5 ladies hanging around. I mean I know my king is a chick-magent but really....

They make good targets for assasin practice...

...and how do they manage to cross three countries at a time?

All the diplomatic/espionage units can use the 'instant sea' transportation that was available to all the troops in Shogun. In other words, if there's docks in both provinces, they transport automatically (not needing the ships in every zone along the way like military units...in other words, they just hitch a ride on the hidden merchant ships). So if it looks like they're jumping provinces, they're probably taking port teleportations (port 'ports?).

You gotta love how the AI likes to crowd territories with these units...sometimes it almost feels like they do it just to annoy you. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif I love how it leaves four princesses from a faction in your land, but you can't marry any of them. And I swear ever since I learned to make my provinces more anti-assassin proof, the AI drops even more troops in my areas to keep them protected.

As you say, though, it makes good, easy assassin practice...except when they 'port off to some enemy border tower zone. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
