I've got some ideas myself, but I haven't got to all of Kingdoms yet. So which factions are the most difficult to play in each of the campaigns? I'm guessing to see Norway for Britannia, but I haven't played around much with the others.

If you would be so kind, please post your difficulty settings as well.

for britannia: all of them seemed pretty easy...

1. norway can pretty much stay to themselves (on the islands) and build up while raiding english/welsh coastline.

2. ireland: get a continent of their own once they kick off the english (can be done very early in the campaign if the king uses forests for cover and gets to the biggest english castle there with unharmed catapults (use the spies and assassins generously supplied by the local IRA to scout/cleanup the path); once the castle is taken, dublin is a fair game within a move; and from then english have just a symbolic presence in the island until the irish wipe them off completely).

3. welsh: if initial english advances are checked, welsh can expand rapidly into the neighboring english provinces. oversized longobowmen units rule the battlefield. welsh jinette type cavalry is pretty handy to weaken english swords too.

4. scottland: good pikes all over the place. no worries there.

so far, the biggest challenge to play on VH/VH setting seemed to be lithuania. the order can be challenging at the beginning on a VH/VH campaign too.

What about Poland in the Teutonic Campiagn? In every one I have done they have been surrounded and defeated by numerous factions by about turn 40.
