Hi All !

I'm in Dubai and I've got some time off, am looking for Kingdoms. Checked Virgin and Jayzee (forgot the correct name, it's the store off the Carrefours in City Center & Emirates Mall), both did'nt have it. They did'nt even have M2:TW; sold out.

Can anyone tell me where I can get both he original game & Kingdoms in Dubai ? Will have to buy the game too since I've left my copy in Europe.

Cheers & Greetings from Dubai !

Wish i could help, don't recall too many places in dubai other than the emirates mall. And remember than some games won't be compatible due to country codes. Might i enquire what your up to in that part of the world? I was there not too long ago on deployment, that mall is crazy huge. And the ski slope was a sight to see.

Well I guess I'll spend the time in the gym & spa instead... lot healthier anyway.

I'm here scouting out the place, looking for a new place to live, getting bored of Europe. The ski slope is probably one of the craziest things I ever saw. Scotsman if you have any further tips on anything at all in Dubai (clubs etc) pop me a PM.

Guess Leet Eriksson aka Faisal could tell you but he gets most of his games online because the shops get them very late AFAIK.

Sinan: You were saying you won't get kingdoms. Be strong. Don't let temptation get you. :grin2:

Two words...Amazon.com. (or is that three? Is dot a word? I don't think in this context. Am I rambling now?) :2thumbsup:

Then you can avoid all of that gym sillyness. :dizzy2:

Hello Sinan, been a long time eh :sweatdrop:

If you go to Ibn Batutta Mall you may find it in Sharaf DG, that shop gets the latest games as far as my knowledge goes, if not try the small computer shop opposite of Carrefour in City Center.

If you want to trek to abu dhabi, try and look for a place called Al Maria Cinema, you can find a computer shop there and the guys will order it for you but that will take a week to arrive at best.

Hope that helps. I still haven't bought kingdoms YET, but i will hopefully soon.

The heat is totally bearable. Anyway I was here about 4 weeks ago as well and did a 75 minute run in the sun at 46 degrees. HOOOAAAAHH !!!! Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I LOVE the heat. Airconditioning is evil, get used to it and you're screwed. It's probably around 40 right now, not more.

Thanks for the tips guys & specially thanks L33t norg3 I'm gonna check Ibn Battuta today. I'm not all that keen on Kingdoms because of Securom but I wanna play APACHE !!! Plus I got a new laptop, finally, so I want to test out it GFX capacities.

Hey bro. Tried both, neither have it. Do you have any other ideas ?

Have'nt tried Dhabi as I'm now busy during the day and it would be a hike to go there.

I have to admit . . . this is a fascinating thread. :beam:

With the 'Hoooah' I'm taking it your military, Sinan.

Stay cool. The weather should probably turn there soon to take the edge off the heat. :sweatdrop:

Nope Germanicus, I'm not military, but I should have been. Life might have been a lot simpler. I just like to challenge myself physically & a run in the desert sun is a freaking challenge, for me anyway.

Still looking for Kingdoms... trouble with Dubai is if anything goes out of stock (which it frequently does) it's history for a while.

OK I hope to have like a week free in a couple of days. I'm completely at a loss as to where to go next. I definetly tried every freakin computer store in every main mall. Just wanted to bump this a last time in case anyone has any ideas.

Why don't you order online and have it delivered in Dubai ?

Because it's likely I won't be here next week. Looking for a little holiday East. I guess I'll have to wait till I get back to Euroland in a couple of weeks. I don't live here in Dubai just visiting.
