Thought you guys might like to hear some about the BradyGames strat guide.
First, it's much more a unit stats/description guide that the old Shogun guide. In the previous Shogun guide province decriptions occupied the vast majority of the script, in MTW it's all about the units. Their descriptions are given along with: Charge, Attack, Defense, Morale, Armor, Weapon, Shield, March speed, Run speed, Charge speed. If they are accurate (and I have no reason to doubt) it will be a useful guide. Bonus for charging, hold position, etc...are all reviewed as well.
Historic campaigns are described as well, with a few tips thrown in for value.
All the numerous Vices and Virtues are decribed, along with they're penalty/bonus rating.
Honestly, if you were industrious and compiled a few of the threads we've had regarding stats from the demo...updated them with the end-game figures, then compiled them into pretty tables, you'd have just as useful a guide.
