Well are they?
Do some kingdoms have a line of drunks? warrior princes? high acumen etc

Or is the closest you can get to a genetic V&V is the incest one

I was thinking (once a month, twice on a blue moon) that it would be interesting if the traits could be almost 'bred'. So if you marry your king to the princess of a warrior king you have a higher chance of having a warrior prince (nature and nuture debate, just give it a higher % not an absolute).

I do believe some of the princely lines were known for the particulary set of their jaws and line of their nose and other attributes.

Im playing the Danes right now and The royal blood line has had some great leaders come out. I just got a prince with 9 stars, Acume of about 6 Very high Influence, and his piety is good too.

Of course its my first game and its on easy so im sure that that effects on what I get for Princes etc. But boy the Royal line has been good to me so far in this game. Most of my Lead Generals (not all maybe 55%) are of royal blood now.

YES! My king is a "hopeless drunk" or something like that and one of his sons "drinks frequently" and the other is "often drunk."

The Lord of Wine enjoys spreading his Gospel. Unfortunately, Royalty is not very happy when their princesses wander off to join one of Bach's world renowned Revels.

Ahh... I hear my Bachae calling now....

my faction is dominating the map in the game i'm playing now, and no other faction will let me marry thier princessess. my last 2 kings have both had to marry within my faction after they ascended the throne. it might be coincidence but the heirs being born now are having a lot more inbred and insanity vices than before. also my kings are ascending the throne at middle to late age. and since they're not married before they become king, i'm having fewer and fewer heirs and princesses being produced, than when i could marry my heirs at a young age to other factions princesses. if this was intended by the developers than it is absolutley awesome, because i'm beginning to feel a dynastic urge to win the game quickly before my line dies out.
