Does the kill_character command work in EB? If so, I can't seem to get it to work properly. I'm trying to role-play a civil war and I need to deal with the losers now.

Thanks

The kill_character command needs to be part of a script to work.

Can you explain further? If there's a way to get it to work, I'll try.

Basically it doesn't work if you try and put it in like a 'add_money cheat'. It needs to be part of activate able script (like the one you use at the start of the game). What you need to do to make it work is open your RTW folder find this directory " EB/Data/Scripts/Showme" and the find a text document called EB_SCRIPT (or something similar to that) open it and type:

Console_command kill_character "Character name"

and remember Roman names are wired;in code Gaius Julius Caesar is writen like Gaiusjulius Caesar
If that's to complicated ( Don't worry it was hard for me to learn to.) Just give me a list of names and I'll do it.

How do you give traits to family members with more than one name?

What exactly do you mean by more than one name?

Pvblivs Lvcivs Cornelivs Africanvs (as apposed to just "Cornelius").

Pvblivs Lvcivs Cornelivs Africanvs (as apposed to just "Cornelius").
Ignore Africanvs, just open the cheat console and type;
give_trait "Pvblivslvcivs Cornelivs" "trait name"

Hmm OK, thanks. What about for Makedonians with two names though? I've tried the names with no space, the names with 1 space, and the names with a "_", but none of those worked.

I think the Greek tri-named guys are "First MiddleLast" or "First Middlelast".

I'm speaking of Greek TWO-name characters and agents.

Well, with any two named characters, it is just a space. I've noticed that a couple Greek names don't work, though. I think there are slight spelling differences from their internal name and their visible name for a couple names.

OK, thanks for your help.

'tis "First Middlelast"
and it doesnt work if you type in a given name, like africanus- original names only
