It's a great game, better than the old Shogun. I am playing Turkish in Expert from early age and now it's 1309 ....

1. The manual doesn't tell you clearly about the requirements of buildings/units. The unit/building map is neat but there are lots of things missing.

Is the number of mercenary recruitment totally random?

How to build a Metasmith? It seems to require iron resource in that area.

You can build more than two lines of buildings in the same region now.

You can only build one Grand Mosque ?

Some unit, such as pavisecrossbow, is said to be universal available but I can't build it as Turkish.

2.About battlefield AI, it's better than that of Shogun.

AI will try to take the higher ground and flank you. However, AI doesn't protect his troops well and when it tries to maneuver....it does it right in front of your troops thus expose its flank.

An efficient way to fight AI is to use horse archers, especially the crossbow ones. AI has a hard time to deal with it.

AI doesn't know how to get the right combination of troops when it has lots of siege engines. I defeated Golden rush (about 20 heavy cavalry, numerous light cavalry and some foot soidlers) easily because AI put 8 siege engines on the battlefield first and effectively restrict its fighting force to 8 at a time only.

3 Naval combat

It's a pain, especially when in the later stage and you need to chase down every hostile ship to keep your sea route open. I have 5 ships in each major sea map and have to order them to attack each turn individually. That means at least 3x5 clicks on ships each turn.

4. Rebellions and reincarnate of nations

The rebellion is controllable. It's just like in Civilization, you need to build temples in each city. Same thing in MTW, you just keep spy/bishop and church in each zone, keep loyalty rate above 100 and you should be fine.

You need to be very careful about the re-emerging of extince nations. They usually consists of Lvl 5 knights and can be tough to beat.

That's all I can think of now. Great game.
