and I need to know how to become a member. Junior members are restricted, and I hate that.

Thanks in advanced.

From the Guild FAQ:

Promotion to Member
Promotion to Member is based on participation, conduct and contributions in your posts. Quantity of posts doesn't matter - you could be promoted on the basis of one amazing post, although just showing the ability to interact with the membership in a helpful and polite manner is easily sufficient. In other words, you don't need to do something special, just enjoy yourself whilst following the Forum Rules above. Introducing yourself (if you have not already done so) in the HAIL New Members! (Introductions) III thread doesn't hurt either!

Promotions are handled manually by the Guild Staff, and are generally done en masse. So as a very quick rule of thumb: if you've been here for a couple of weeks and been posting reasonably regularly during that time, you should be promoted to Member.

In any case, the staff will always try to help you if they can. If you feel perhaps that you've been mistakenly overlooked (as does happen on occasion), your best bet is to either PM TosaInu or Ser Clegane and explain your situation.

Patience young padawan. You'll be member soon enough.

Okay, thanks Andres. I saw that there's a gameroom, and since I can't check right now, I'll ask. Can I participate in there as a Junior Member?

(1) Open up every thread you can access and post some random response.
(2) When you reach about thirty-five, send a private message to a mod complaining about not being a full member.
(3) Receive membership.
(4) ???????
(5) Profit.

NOTE: This is why I will never become a senior member.

PM Andres. Junior Members aren't supposedly able to post there, but by PM'ing the Gameroom Moderator (Andres), he can speed up the process.

Hope to see you there soon!

Don't spam. Which is what CrossLOPER seems to suggest...

I'm going to get my friend to join too. We're both avid gamers who like to use our imaginations in games, as well as have it done for us (like on consols)

I remember being promoted shortly after posting a thread about magnificent and wonderful camels:egypt: . Could just be a coincidence but it is worth a try.

Note: now that I'm a full member I can state that camels are useless smelly beasts.

And just like that, Waldinger found himself in chains, digging away in the camel stables.

See, now if you had just simply kept on professing your admiration of the noble camel, that wouldn't have happened. ~;p

Welcome new member!
Fixed it for ya. After all, even though he's new, he might still be a geezer like myself. :beam:

Hey, a thread devoted entirely about himself, how like Kyros. :laugh4:

Anyway, I'm the friend that introduced him to the games. I've been playing them for a couple of years now and are still enjoying them pretty often.

That's all said in the Hail! New Members Thread.

This is why he has 106 posts and is still a junior member.

I believe this thread has served it's purpose.

To those who added something constructive : thanks.
