Perosnally, I only play on glorious achievement mode. I'd rather have a small empire that stands the test of time than another Mongol horde.

I dont think you really get to experience Total War unless you go for all out domination, theres nothing more exciting than the trials and tribulations of trying to hold together a vast empire http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
