My reason is for all of thsi meaningless death. Austria severely over-reacted, and make Serbia pay. I say, It's time Austria got its fill of strife.

As for you, germany. Austria is not after one man. They alone have already killed hundreds of thousands. If we do not stop them, it will become millions. I will not see the death toll rise that high.

Some stuff I forgot to post:

Losing cities: If you lose a city, you lose a fraction of your total population and un-deployed troops. Say, You have 4 cities, and you have a population of 4 million. You have 100,000 undeployed men. One city is taken, along with 1 million people, and your use of 25,000 of those men. (You lose a fraction of your people dependent on your number of cities. 4 cities, 1/4th per city. 24 cities, 1/24th per city.)

I will not take any unfair advantage over anybody. As I have said before, I plan all of my actions out in advance. So, I attack, lets say Paris. Paris gets an extra 400,000 troops this turn. still attack, and likely lose.

I quite agree.
In real it more or less went like this:
Austria declares war on Serbia
Russia does not like this and declares war on Austria
Germany does not like that and declares war on Russia
France joins its ally and declares war on Germany and Austria

End of story

Portugal, wtf, they don't even know where Serbia is. Greece, they would want to get out as soon as possible.
Switzerland, they don't even know what war is.

While the United States will not declare on Austria, we will not declare war on the rest of the world. We wish for hostilities to cease immediately.

If Austria withdraws its troops from Serbia, and moves towards peace talks with its foes, and its foes refuse to acknowledge that, then the United States of America will be forced to take action.

On another note, will it be possible to use a time machine to refight the battle of Belgrade (It is spelled like this! Not Beograd! :laugh4:) We may have only half the Austrian army's men, but I got large fort, trenches, and the entire city on my side! How did we lose???:wall:

After recieving a certain secret message from the Portugese we have determined them and the French to be even more of an imperialist bully than Austria. We recommend that Spain reinforces its borders with France and Portugal. Italy will declare war on Portugal and France. We are willing to cease hostilities against the Austrians. Turn 4: Paris Attacked!
A massive force of 1,100,000 Germans attacked the completely undefended French capital of Paris. hearing news that the enemy was marching on their fair city, 400,000 undeployed soldiers in Paris rally together to defend their city. The battle quickliy went door to door, civillian casualties are high. (for specifics, look at the battle info below). However, despite their difficulties, the french have managed to hold onto much of the city. Spain however, has been much more successful. The attack on Bayonne was a hard fight, But Spain was victorious, and managed to take the city just yesterday. Toulouse, however, was not so lucky. Spainish soldiers launched a surprise attack on the city of Toulouse, which immediately resulted in Spainish victory. there were thousands of french captured, and Spanish forces recieved only slight losses. The civillians took the worst blow. Italy takes much of southern austria, once again, they were unmolested in their assault. This is a sad day for Europe...

We, of Austria, see that the Italian ruler's only interest is to expand. If the French people flee to the side of Italy, the Italians will simply attempt in vain to conquer the occupied French land for themselves. We encourage the French to stay at home and fight for their own country.

The Emperor of Austria-Hungary hereby realizes that Serbia deserves independence, and the entire country and its citizens can not be held at fault for the actions of a few wayward souls. We would enter into negotiations with the Serbian government, if he would allow for it.

1. Serbia is returned all of its land and hostilities against Serbia Cease.

Serbia will decide its own terms. And if the Italians continually make demands such as these, they will not live to regret it.

2. All French land is returned to the French in addition to the territory of Alsace-Lorraine and hostilities are immediatly ceased.

Since Spain and Germany are winning in France:
1. Germany shall retreat out of France.
2. For every died German soldier France shall pay the amount of 100 Reichsmark.

4. For every died Spanish soldier France shall pay the amount equivalent to 100 Reichsmark.

There are even rumors floating around about an assasination attempt on the French leader. We have gotten no official word about this, though we have seen the would be executioner's corpse. Itlay began operation: Spainish inquisition against the spainish, and have taken the city of barcelona without a fight. Operation: Freedom Fry is calling all French soldiers to the Italian side, to fight against foriegn invaders. Operation Bonaparte took the island of Cosica. The inhabiatants are said to be even better off than before the Itlaians came, and there is almost no french opposition to Italian control. Operation: Big battle brought 1,000,000 Italians to surge against the fortress city of Laibach in Austria. The Austrians have held out against superior numbers, and have caused heavy casualties for the Italians. In Operation: Awkward turtle, we had almost three million soldiers fighting each other. TheAustrians were much better commandewd and trained, as they dealt over half a million casualties to the italians, who fell into trap after trap. More details on the battles below. November was truly a month to remember. Hundreds of thousands have been killed for a pointless war, one in which we see no end in sight. However a new slavic league, the League for the Protection of Baltic States (PBS for short) is doing its best to promote peace in Europe.

Italy is truly going downhill this year, their operations have been stagnated or destroyed alltogether. Their french holdings have been taken by germany, and over 250,000 Italian soldiers lie in German hands, signaling the failure of Operation: Freedom Fry. Barcelona was retaken by a million spainsh tropps, which completely overran and captured their city. Over 100,000 Italians taken prisoner of the Spainish. In The newly created Slavic state of Dalmatia, orders for the removal of over a million troops failed to reach Italian generals. The Austrians invaded the puppet state, but were repulsed once again. If the withdrawals would have taken place, Dalmatia would once more lie in Austrian Hands. Elections for the leader of Dalmatia will commence in February. . Assaults on the Austrian cities of Trient and Laibach met with failure. Attacking Trient, over 70,000 Swiss met theiir end. However, the Italians have had some success securing the state of Libya.

5 more plots against the French leader were detected this month. A bomb placed in the Parliamentary building eventually killed the French leader, along with 23 members of Parliament and 12 bystanders. The man responsible is yet to be caught. Germany Invaded once more, and has succeded in taking the rest of France, with no opposition. With invaders from all sides, the leaderless French people are glad to have someone to protect them. The States of Morocco and Algeria have formed their own nations, and rulers there are yet to be revealed.

OOC NEWS: Dalmatia will become a cpu state in February, as have become of Morocco and Algeria. France has been extinguished. A rebellion will not occur, due to recent hatred for their leader, and France is content to be in German hands.
