anyway to do weapon upgrade in this game? My armory give me armor upgrade, i thought sword smith suppose to give me attack upgrade but seems not. Any ideas?

... and you need iron. A black metal bar in the resource list.

Do the weapon upgrades make a significant difference? (Are they worth it?)

It's effectively +1 to their attack, so certainly worth building the metalsmith in any province you can.

Imagine your Spearmen with +4 to attack... Now they would kill horsies quite fast, even the good ones.

Then they need it to defence, which many people tend to negelect.
