Running EB0.81V2 on clean install of RTW1.5. The custom battles work fine but I can't start a campaign at all. Keeps CTD. Have tried manual extractions and deleting map.rwm file. nothing seems to work? :o (

Anyways, any help wold be greatky appreciated. :o )

I'm afraid the log you posted is no help, it just says it has closed some files as part of its shutdown sequence.

You don't get any error message when it crashes? If the custom battles work, you should have installed it in the correct folder, so I don't know what could be the problem.

Thanks for the reply Bovi. I don't normally get an error crash message, apart from the 'Windows is shutting this program down and will notify you if their is a solution.' RTW and BI work on this PC so I can't figure it out. I have tried numerous clean installs. :o ( No EB for me.

Hold the phone, I realised if I exit the game myself without it CTD, the following message comes up:

eb/data/descr_rebel-factions.txt, at line 568, column 21.
rebel unit type 'germanic infantry ferulhajoz' not found in unit_db.

Maybe this is the problem? If it doesn't help I will just have to wait for 1.0 to come out. Thanks for all your help. :o )

That means there's something corrupted in your install, or it is installed in the wrong directory after all. I think the first is more likely.
