so trouble importing an "older" .cas

When I try to import this .cas in 3dsmax I get the following message:

"Importer has detected that the file you are importing is an older version of the format is is likly to cause problems"

It imports it but not well enough apparently, cause even though I get to export it after making some edits, when i try to import the new one, 3dsmax crashes

"--No ""+"" function for undefined"

So, does this mean I need an older version of Vercingetorix's scrip?

Verc's script wasn't made to handle those older files. I suggest you try the CA cas importer, then export with Verc's script.
