I stuck this thread to the top via thread tools but nothing shows up as sticky at the relevant board (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=129). I unstuck and restuck but nothing has improved.
The thread has been subscribed to, so I can find it if need be, but there's apparently some kind of trouble with the custom sticky feature.

If you have problems creating a custom sticky, maybe you should rest a bit before giving it another try. Perhaps reading a relevant book might help. Make sure your mind is on the matter at hand, and don't get distracted.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hello,
The show|hide sticky threads doesn't show up. It's a sub subforum. I'll look at this.
It does for another sub-sub.
Will have to look further into this. Seems the show|hide only shows up in forums that do have one normal sticky. Not sure this was always like that or broke recently?
I never experienced that problem with personal stickies.

Hello Garcilaso de la Vega el Inca,
Neither did I.
It could be that it recently broke, but it's more likely that the glitch just wasn't noticed until now, because most forums do have a sticky. Once a forum has one real sticky, personal stickies are listed.
