From what I can tell, thre is certainly enough in the record to warrant further investgeation of both Ms. Wolinska and Mr. Morel. Specifically, Israel's rejection of extradition, based solely on the expiration of statute of limitations for war crimes and crimes against humanity rings a bit hypocritical. The United Kingdom's concerns about Ms. Wolinska receiving a fair and impartial trial seems a little more reasonable and well-founded, but could be dealt with in ways other than a flat-out rejection.

But can't you make an argument against those 2 former MBP officials without resorting to anti-semitic jabs?

Actually its impossible to explain situation without mentioning that they are Jews.
1)If morel wasn't Jew, he would be in Poland- probably into polish prison.
2)If wolinska wasn't Jew, she would be into polish prison too.

Actually polish prosecutors have no problems catching most of war criminals. Problem is when they are Jews, because Israel is doing everything to save them. If you only read Israeli response about extradition of morel - this propaganda can be compared only with nazis and communists from ww2

You know, perhaps it has something to do with being dragged in because the Jewish heritage of Morel is constantly being named as some essential connection to the crimes... though I'm sure again it's all some conspiracy against the Polish people...

Actually his jewish heritage is most important for his defenders, so I think I can use it too.

According to jewish prosecutors morel commited crimes because he earlier was into GNCC Auschwitz, which changed his psyhics. Furthermore according to that prosecutors he was suspected of war crimes because he was Jew and Poles are Jew-killers.

Truth is much more prozaic - morel was being hidden by Pole Józek Tkaczyk, and he (morel) organised gang of robbers. When gang was catched by communist resistance (big criminals dont like small criminals), morel turned all resposibility on his brother and managed to join commies. Communist resistance didn't do practically anything against germans so it was great place for such a coward.

Of course he had never been into Auschwitz :) but looks like for Israle every Jew from Poland must be Jew from Auschwitz. After "liberation of Poland" by commies be became prison guard and soon became promoted.:) Rest is well known.

If Jozef Tkaczyk had revealed him, he would have saved about 1500 prisoners of death camp (morel was commander of death camp after war).
