I was playing the French and was taking a beating like only the french can http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif then the attack page comes up out of nowhere
when it says that my forces are invading Croatia so I command the attack to see what happens my army consisted of 2 pesants, ballists & urban miltia I get a beating becuase i'm facing a 600+ army with a good general. I had no forces down there only a princess proposing to the hungarians now i'm at war with them. Anybody got any idea's as to how this happened?????

maybe a rebellion happened in that province and you got that bug where rebels join your side (not a loyalist revolt either, rebels one turn yours the next)

Ive had strange things like this happen too. I playing the egyptians right now on a Normal difficulty game. Minding my own buisness and this popup comes up from the Almo Heads about a peace treaty and that our current war is costing us both.
What war? WTF? When did we go to war? Why? HUH?

Anyway I said no and deciced to attack him. Take that you Elmos.
