Strategy Archive

I'm slowly getting around to updating the Strategy archive, but as you can imagine there is alot of stuff to read. Hence if anybody can remember any threads htat treated a topic, strategy well, or came up with something innovative it'd be great if you can post a link to it here, or if you don't have the time (or inclination http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif ) to find it some indication of subject or author so I can try and find it. We're going to get alot of Newbies in soon with any luck, and i want to have a more comprhensive strategy archive going by then. Anything that seems lacking I may try and start some threads on so be prepared for what look like dumbass questions from me, but I'll be fairly basic in terms of topic and questions to try and get some debate going on them and make it obvious for newbies what they're (supposed to be http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif) about

Cheers for those Hiroshi, but I've been unclear, they need to be old threads from this forum not elsewhere, I can only archive here, but links are useful nonetheless, maybe I'll start a links to Strategies thread

Actually, I agree with you on that. I deleted that step from my personal strategies. Although, sometimes after whittling the enemy down a bit, I'll send a cavarly unit across, then run them all around the enemy to spread out their forces. It costs me some cavalry (if I'm not careful), but often allows for a major beachhead when the enemy is chasing me around.

Anyway, I'll try to put all of my good strategy links in ONE post and send them all in a different thread.
