Ironic that it talks about longevity online.... Yet it takes so long to finish reading the article.

LOL

You succeed."

I haven't seen any of my friends in just under a month, and I've been on the computer almost all day every day for the majority of that time. So evidently.. perhaps. What's it to you? :inquisitive:

I have a feeling I'm borderline addicted.

I usually waffle back and forth across the line: I'll spend too much time on the computer for a week or two, then I'll get a grip and get back to real life for a while, then slip back into staying up too late on my PC again, etc. The biggest difference is usually where I'm at in my "game cycle" -- I'll obsess and play a game for hours on end for a couple weeks or so, and then I'll suddenly burn out on it for a bit and my game-playing time will drop sharply for another week or two. ~

Just lost my job and it's 8-10 hours a day of TW.
It's pretty bad. If my wife wasn't here I'd do at least 12 hours a day

You decide to stay in college for an additional year or two, just for the free Internet access.

Hmmm :idea2:

drastic lifestyle changes in order to spend more time on the net
My lifestyle was always suited to playing the PC

general decrease in physical activity
can't remeber the last time I moved above walking speed.

a disregard for one's health as a result of internet activity
So long as I am not ill, I don't care how unfit I am.

avoiding important life activities in order to spend time on the net
What activities?

sleep deprivation or a change in sleep patterns in order to spend time on the net
I stay up till 2 every morning just to get peace to play my PS3, and play computer from breakfast till then...

a decrease in socializing, resulting in loss of friends
Decrease in what?

neglecting family and friends
Who?

refusing to spend any extended time off the net
Will I can still voluntarily go out to football games, so I do OK in this category.

a craving for more time at the computer
Not really, I'm never off it in the first place.

neglecting job and personal obligations
Don't have any.:2thumbsup:

Hmmm, maybe I am slightly addicted...

Bah, I must spend 5-10 hours a day in front of either a laptop or a stationary. That said I haven't played a computer game for 2 weeks. No addiction here. ~;p

After finally achieving a level of 24 hours in 7 days on FM, I've slowed down a bit.

It's not an addiction, more of an extended controlled use. ~;)

...:shame: ...

Not really, to be serious. I just mod on here as sort of a general hobby. I am not an addict, and I can definitely live without this box.
