Seeing as so many people seem to be putting life on hold for the new release of EB. i think it is an appropriate time to make a list of the nerdiest things you have done pertaining to EB, maybe if we get some good ones ill make a pole and we can crown the nerdiest nerd of us all!

Mine:
I have EB music on my iTunes and i even made an album art for it which can be found here (http://madmatg.googlepages.com/eb_map_080_antique.jpg) . just save that to the desktop go to iTunes, highligh all your EB songs, right click then go to Get info and click on the album art empty space and find the picture you downloaded! wahlla! nerdy iTunes!

Seriously, it seems like every unit and his grandma has Javelins in EB.
Why not? It's was an affordable weapon, and what's against taking a shot at an enemy before he's in swordrange? If you are lucky, you can kill him outright or at least disable his shield. At worst, you can answer his javelins, because if he brought them and you have not, you'll either have to charge through the barrage or hide behind your shield and hope they don't have brought spare ones.

You play football with your friends or watch an NFL game and you start thinking about the offensive and defensive lines like a phalanx, the linebackers/defensive ends like flanking infantry, the wide receivers and cornerbacks like cavalry, and the safeties and QB like generals. Then you get mad when you get penalized for smashing into the rears of the engaged linemen (cut blocking) or aiming at the neck where the gap in the armor is between the helmet and the pads. Next, you shed all your armor a la gaesetae and start busting out a tribal war cry like they do in rugby: https://youtube.com/watch?v=kd0kDxP04eI :help:

Just kidding on some parts! But the whole strategy thing :book:
