It was during religion class that I first heard about the three secrets of Fatima. For some sort of reason I wanted to find out what those three secrets were. I found out about the first and second secret and I wasn't that fascinated, but then it took me about 15 minutes before I could find the third secret and seriously I am scared and I was basically trembling when I read it, it may not be that horrifying for some of you, but for some reason I find that the secret really shook me up.

None of this nonsense fazes me anymore. When I was much younger, I'd read this stuff too and consider it carefully, these days I simply ignore it.
Consider that there are countless nuts all over the world who make "predictions" like these, and of them perhaps 0.0000001% make any that could remotely be construed as actual. Nostradaemus (sp?) is another individual who many have "forced" events to fit with his writings, attempting to lend credence to them.
After about the 10th or 20th or 100th one of these things that you read, you'll eventually get over it, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree with you, I never believe those scientist nutcases, but this time everything fits in place, I can't find a link to another site I researched on but many things fit into the "warning" for example, Mt. Helen has been active recently and is predicted to explode some time during April. Also there was something about it with Pop John Paul the second, Mary said that he would be the last pope, and the popes after would be "puppets" There were many more peices that fit in with it as well, I unno but after reading it I'm pretty freaked out. It has also been kept secret pope after pope for a looooong time, if it was like one of the science nutcases they would have announced it ages ago, but they have kept it secret and away from the public for so long. Even the second secret was correct, World War one did end after that in November, also she told the htree kids about world war 2, and the secret was also right. See thats whats freaking me out the second secret was straight on.

What are you talking about "everything fits into place". According to that website, a giant asteroid was supposed to enter the Earth's atmosphere in 2001, engulfing the world in phantom fire that would cause mass panic so extreme as to cause death in large numbers, and that would herald the beginning of the second coming. Uhm, no such "big flaming rock".
I urge you to read Jesus's words on the second coming. He describes His return as "like a thief in the night". He says "nobody knows, but the father". Nobody knows what Mary revealed in private for the Holy Father in Fatima, but it could not possibly have been a prediciton on the End of Times, because she could not possibly know when its coming. Only Jesus does. And that was by design. He wants us all living as though the 2nd Coming will happen in 15 minutes.

As far as I can see, people in such a high position of authority have more reasons to lie on a daily basis than you can shake a stick at. I mean no offense to the Pope or Catholicism. I have a deep respect for the religion and its members. But I would never think a lie or cover-up by a world authority figure would be valid grounds to lend credence to such a thing.

He's the pope! One of the greatest pope, I don't think he would lie about something like this. But I do agree with you in some matter. In the "vision" he was told to reveal it in 1960, but something occured to make him reveal it almost 40 years later, so there is a big probabillity that he is lieing to stop anyone from knowing, but I doubt that HIGHLY.

Seems to me you believe those "science nutcases" plenty.
If you think the third secret of Fatima was bad you will pap your pants when you read the third secret of Darwin. He wrote it down after a jolly good lunch in 1859, and its been sealed in a lead lined box in the vaults of the Royal Society ever since. Only the incoming presidents of the society are allowed to read it. Three committed suicide shortly after, and of the rest not one has EVER eaten calamari again...

Well, I just read the Monastery topic about how the pope didn't think the Templars were heretics but carved in to the french king and let him execute them all.
Despite that, as a protestant I think the whole pope stuff is a big lie in itself. ~;)

Science = Target shooting with a single pellet at a time and claiming the theory is correct if every shot hits the bullseye. And that its not a theory if a single shot misses.

That wasn't the third Secret of Fatima. In fact that is something written prior to its release. The real version isn't that apocalyptic at all.

Well thats sort of the same thing as the one I post, their talking about the same thing, those who believe will not have to worry as they will go to heaven after the ende of the world.

What they are talking about is an interpretation of the rumoured contents of the letter. Their interpretation is focused on the end of days, while the letter itself seems to be a prophecy of the coming of apostasy.
Sorry but according to church third secret of Fatima was about hurting pope John Paul II. Who like who but church knows better.
