Did you guys do a new animation so the Indohellenikoi Eugeneis Hoplita hold there spear like in the SN ? Anyway damn that unit is sexy along with all your new work . I am now just waiting for the DL .


Oh and The Persian Cataphract damn you . I predicted Persian heavy cavalry awhile back and all you did was smile and act ignorant .

No new unit animation. That position for the art screen and UI was a bit of artistic freedom. It's not a realistic position to hold a spear. It's taken out of that "300" fantasy crap story by Frank Miller (adapted to cinema in the even crappier "300" film) that pretends to pass for a representation of the Battle of Thermopylas.

Indeed. You'd probably break your arm if you used a spear in that position against and enemy. Ofcourse, the historical inaccuracies weren't 300's only problems...:inquisitive:

But back to Baktria.(lol!) They were already a good looking faction and now they're even better! My only compliant about them in previous EB versions, was that, under the AI, they never really used much of their elite or even regular core units. Iinstead, they'd spill stack after stack of local levies at my Parthians. Which of course caused the battles to dissolve into chasing skirmishers all over the map Benny Hill style...:no:

Actually that unit doesn't pop up in the custom battle menu. Is that just a minor problem that does not effect actual campaign game play or is that a snafu ?

its probably because there's a limit on the number of units that appear in the custom battle screen. if the indogreek noble hoplites don't appear there, then we'll probably do something to make sure they get shuffled in.
