Maybe they don`t work if I play with BI? I started blaying as Pahlava, and no faction intro video.
What about the pre-battle speeches in Greek? Are they supposed to be in greek? Mine were in english...
We were never going to release intro movies for all factions with 1.0, I believe I stated as much in the first teaser thread. The teasers were just that - a teaser.
To play the movies you need to make sure that you don't have -nm in the target line of the shortcut you use.
The pre battle speeches are still being worked on. Not everything we preview is for 1.0, it is stuff that we are working on.

Still ? And I thought if it 1.0 = 100%
Probably there will be plenty of patches in future... (

please go back playing vanilla it's full of intro videos
1.0 = ex 0.9
1.2 = ex 1.0
right?

Really, then will RTR 7.0 be 700% complete?
The numbering was a bane for us. 0.8 was arguably one of the most stable and complete mods ever released for RTW, yet it was still considered a beta by many people and was thus associated with bugs (not true, especially after 0.81), missing content (not true, what was in there was complete) and basically something that wasn't worth talking about in gaming publications (we got a grand total of nil interviews by people, even though we are one of the largest mods available for RTW).

That's why I think such. If 0.8 is ome of the most stable, finished mods, than 1.0 will be fully finished... You call it 1.0 to stop people talking about EB as a beta mod:grin:
Version 1 means the first complete version. Doesn't say that there won't be future versions, as evidenced by most computer products ever. Personally I feel 0.81 was a complete version too, though.

This is the first release we've had that we can actually call 1.0. All the pieces are finally in there. The rest is all bug-fix, final balancing, general polish, and neat stuff we can add (like video intros!) from here on out.
In short, for the very first time we can consider a missing unit or building description a bug. ~:)

I think I'll work on making an intro movie for the game itself. I've made RTW movies before.
