Hi guys and girls.

Can you give heirs the governership of a provience or a title of state ?

My heirs tend to have really good stats and i would love to be able to take advantage of that by giving them a title or two.

the way it stands now i have to wait until one of the heirs becomes king and then i can give his brothers titles and governerships. (as they then become ordinary generals)

am i doing something wrong ? i try to drop a title on my heir and it dont work.
In real life quite often a heir would have been the governer of a provience or have some some additional title.

sorry if this has been covered before. the search feature wont work for me and i looked over the topics manualy and couldnt find any info.

much appreciated if any could tell me what i am doing wrong or wether you just cant give heirs titles ?

You cannot give titles to heirs. The gameplay reason why is that they already are totally loyal, so they don't need the extra boost. However you CAN give titles to heirs who no longer are in the line of succession.

You cant five title to heirs 'cause the other generals will think you'r biased and will drop in loyalty.

Arkatreides...... wrong.

That's what I thought at first, I did not suspect a thing from my ZERO LOYALTY heir w/ Envy V&V.

Until now there is a civil war led by him! Followed by exactly HALF my army!

Yeah, I experienced a revolting heir (he has Ugly Scars) too http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
He and one of his brothers were quick to revolt against me when I excommunicated, and was on the defensive against the French and Italians.
I lost practically everything because the next round another half of my forces revolted.
