Jerusalem and Antioch start with 2 uniqe units each. After unpacking the files, i saw that they could be built, but with only 0,999 units available. I suppose that is to make them uniqe, in that you can't build them but only repair them. What happens if it is destroyed? Can it be rebuilt then?

You can retrain them.
And! If you put the places were you can train / retrain them on auto, the AI will train more of them. This is according to poster who had more than one of them. It is a kind of bug. :no:

I disbanded mine when the units got under 10 men. :shame:

You can retrain them at Krak des Chevaliers (Antioch) and at Kerak (Jerusalem) I believe.
And any other as big castle as Kerak

Retrain as in get new ones, or retrain as in I could have brought them up to full power had I not stupidly disbanded them?

The latter. However, the AI at least seems to be able to get more than one copy of them. I never leave cities on auto so I wouldn't know whether this is possible for the player as well.

From my campaign they regenerated like the general bodyguard unit.... both marshall and constable of jerusalem.
