I don't know if this is intentional or bizarre, but in my Casse campaign, the advisor occasionally pops up as if to tell me something, and when I click on his face to hear what he has to say, he leaves. I'm concerned that I'm missing something of import, here. Is this normal?

Cheers.

Has happened to me in previous versions, when I tried to activate the scripts. IIRC tis happens because of something you set in user options, but for the life of me I can't remember what, or how to fix it.:shame: And sadly I'm prety sure you will be missing what he is trying to tell you.

Unrelatedly, all of my watchtowers appear to be... invisible?

Cheers.

The Casse advisor thingy can be fixed by clicking the sound/text icon just to the upper right of "show me how" (blackboard icon). By default the advisor is set to speech only; so that's not much use in EB since the only real advice/notifications you'll get are text only.

Clicking aforementioned button will bring up a text balloon with what he's got to "say" >> problem fixed.

Watchtowers: IIRC all Celtic watchtower structures appear to be rather small compared to others on the stratmap; so while they are certainly not visible they aren't exactly landmarks either. You just gotta look more closely I s'ppose.

Thanks, Tellos. I wish I'd known that 20 years ago in-game. ~;-)

Upon further inspection, it looks like the "watchtowers" are actually more like "scout camps". So, indeed, they are very small, but they are there.

Cheers.
