6WORST PATCHES I HAVE EVER SEEN
You're supposed to patch from 1.0 to 1.2. As far as your disc 2 is it scratched? Other than that I have no idea what could be wrong.
no scratches the game installed no problem when i got it first (1 week ago) i am sure i installed the patch wrong is it possable i damaged the game permanently by doing this.again i know VERY VERY LITTLE ABOUT COMPUTERS .was looking at old threads didnt have a clue what they were on about.
When crashes, when going into battle?
no im trying to reinstall game this is what happens(insert disk 1 product cobe ect ect no problem then it asks for disk 2 this is exactly what it says)( SETUP COULD NOT FIND A FILE ON SPECIFIED PATH OR DISK PLEASE CHECK THAT THE PROPER DISK IS INSERTED OR SPECIFY A NEW PATH)when i first installed i clicked ok and it just worked if i try to specify new path windows says program not responding and it closes

Welcome zzbran,
I doubt that the patch has caused the problem - as Ichigo has said, the chances are that the disk is finger printed or scratched.
Whether you can view any damage or not, give it a good clean using warm water. After that, dry it off, preferably using kitchen roll, and then reattempt the installation.
If that fails, then you may want to try posting your query here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=15). I'm sure one of the technical experts will be able to assist you in resolving your problem.
If you do not receive a resolution during the next ten days, then you may wish to return your copy to the place of purchase and request a replacement. It is possible that a file on the disk was accidentally removed or modified.
Hope this helps, good luck, cheers!
no its not that i cleaned it totaly its trying to read it but it cant disk 1 is full off fingerprints and that works cpu is powerful and only 3 weeks old

Typically, if the CPU was faulty, the computer probably wouldn't be operating at all.
thank you for your help omanes i think i have done something like that ive deleated so much stuff in frustration also when you look at some of the files in the patches they say no liability for damage done to software so it must be possable to do this its my own fault tryed to install it like patches for older tw games BIG MISTAKE the m2tw patches are a joke if you know noting about computers and try to install them your screwed
