I did this about four months ago, but couldn't post it yet. Then my photoshop started acting up and so I haven't updated it since. Still, it's got a lot of the newer units in it and some folks might be interested in or might enjoy seeing it.

Great compilation. I really had no idea there were this many elephant units! they all look awesome. :) (I also noticed the old Cohors Evocata unit is in there near the middle by the Samnites)

Very minor quibble but I wish you would make the proportions so you could have it for a desktop background.

Awesome! EB is so beautiful. I think this is kind of a TW Rorschach test. Anyone who just wants to stare at that picture is a genuine TW geek. Everyone else is just faking it.


Very minor quibble but I wish you would make the proportions so you could have it for a desktop background.

Yes, I right click saved as, hoping to use it as a desktop.

If Teleklos Archelaou would provide me with the source .PSD I'd be more than happy to make a few "desktop" resolution sizes. (1920x1200 for me, and I could do 1024x768 and 1280x1024 too).

Don't worry, I'll remember to keep the Iaosatae in front of the Gaesatae's lower region.. :beam:

(I also noticed the old Cohors Evocata unit is in there near the middle by the Samnites)

and the old cohors imperatoria... but there are some new units in there, like that new baktria unit with the brightly colored spear.....

The file is about 87 megabytes large, so it's not easy to move around. I'll try to get it transferred to another cpu to work on it more, but it won't happen this weekend.

I still love that pic. BTW TA to whom to those other armored elephant skins belong? I see the Seleukian, Baktrian, and Egyptian skins, but there is I think one more fully armored elephants in there. Was Parthia supposed to get one?:clown:

Post your renders at angles and showing the unit in ways that I can place it on there and it'll be on there. You, forgus, and blank have a tendency to post your renders with the extremities off the edge of the picture or at weird angles or such and that's the only reason it's loaded more with rob's, stefan's, ricardo's, and xprime's pics. I just grab all the ones in the screenshot threads that could feasibly go onto that pic - I'd love to include more, believe me!

Maybe i should post a pic of the Uis i've done - there is every unit that was done for the 1.0, so there aren't any sad pandas anymore ;)
