Mine is, by far, is Boston Legal. It's nearly the only program I watch on tv.

So what is your favourite tv program?

Watching tv is the biggest waste of time there is. Cool miniseries on dvd are of course something completily different, I really liked Rome, bring on season 3.

And thank the greatness of The Lord for it.

Star Trek

Actually, I don't watch much tv because all my shows are dead. I really liked The West Wing. I watch a lot of news, and any airplane shows I can find, and I like watching Arthur with the kids.

Depends. I like The Hustle (UK series with Adrian Lester, Marc Warren...) and Numbers. Both aren't your average cop series.

Scrubs. House and NCIS are pretty good too but I don't watch them as much anymore. O, and Mythbusters is great also when I see it is on. And college football is great.

Lost, but that's not on right now so it would have to be either Heroes or South Park.

Californication
Dexter

TV is in my opinion in a real up period...there are a bunch of series out there that area a lot better than most movies nowadays.

I like to watch House when I'm bored after clipping my toenails.
I like to watch Man vs. Wild when I'm bored after cutting the grass.
I like to watch Exotic Foods with Arthur Zimmerman when I'm bored after eating dinner.
I like to watch any football games when I'm too lazy to go outside and throw the pigskin with my friends.
So for me, the show I watch are the ones that come on when I'm bored.

I watch the news at times. :laugh4: Without satelite or cable-TV there is only crap to find on the TV-screen. :dizzy2:

It's probably a tie between Heroes and new Battlestar Galactica. I watch a lot of prime time TV though. And besides the two above I try not to mis;

Supernatural
Smallville
The 4400
Eureka
NCIS
Torchwood
Numb3rs
Dr. Who (unfortunately this year I missed most of season 3 :wall: )

That's about it though.

Coronation Street (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronation_Street) is the only thing I watch obsessively, so has to be my favourite. I also try to watch Wife Swap (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wife_Swap) and Super Nanny (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Nanny), although I do have the habit of losing track of time and missing them. As you may have noticed, TV brings out my feminine side.

I always try to watch The Office. Brilliant, brilliant comedy.

If I can, I also try to see The Simpsons and Heroes.

I'll watch a Law and Order episode if it's on, as I will with Seinfeld (great show) and Scrubs.

Lying in bed Saturday afternoons, eating Ben & Jerry's, and watching cooking shows on PBS.

House, Heroes, Lost, Simpsons and Family guy. I do watch the occasional Prison Break episode, but the same story over three seasons is getting rather boring.

Gilmore Girls! That one is good. Also, I watch 4400 (without understanding much) and Smallville (especially when Kristin Kreuk is around) if they're on too.

Frankly I find that rather worrying. My parents watch that program religiously and I really don't understand what they see in it.

Favorite TV program, eh?

Nothing is as good as The Sopranos for me, usually I feel that it is too god to be true. The characters, actors, story in general, no other series has been written as good as this one. Sure some bad episodes are also included, but after that pure gold. Well, I just love it.

Of course The Simpsons is great for it's obvious reasons. I just love the sarcasm in it.

Then there are many more of course...

Soccer, programs about food & preparation of the same, documentaries & cartoons [Simpsons, South Park. etc.]

I am not a big zapper, so I usually know when my programs are on air...That is why I do not think it is such a waste of time, if you watch some TV every now and then.

I don't watch too much TV as most programs seem to be chewing gum for the eyes these days.
Suppose the only programs that I ever got pretty keen on were the likes of
Earthworm Jim
Men Behaving Badly
I'm Alan Partridge
Futurama

Other than that, I only really use the TV for News, Sport and Films.

Rome was excellent (great acting, great dialogue, brought Roman times alive, especially the machinations)
Deadwood - I started swearing more in my everyday life after watching this series but it was absolutely excellent.
Carnivale - mystical, odd, slow-paced but well worth a watch.
Real Time with Bill Maher - slightly puerile, very liberal but I think he's rather funny and has some good showdowns with his panel.

and now for the non-HBO stuff.

American Dad
Family Guy
Scrubs
Father Ted
Futurama
Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe (for the love of God, please check this out on YouTube if you like TV, he's vitriol, sarcasm and poking-idiocy-with-a-stick right on)

I'm watching Heroes s2 but so far it's so-so, Mohinder and Peter need a big slap, but I've enjoyed the Hiro storyline. Sylar's still king, though!

I disagree.. Peter can stay asleep as long as his with those awesome Irish dudes!!:laugh4:

I gotta watch Deadwood. Sounds very intresting. Thank you Tart

The Simspons
Criminal Minds
Jericho (whenever it comes back on, that is)
South Park (whenever I feel like watching them)

those are mine. I don't watch many shows. Besides that, I watch History Channel and such, but that about it.

I have been enjoying the Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe Marathon all day today. I love the cow manure pot episode and the one where he works as a boudain maker. I can't wait for the 150th episode extravaganza celebration tonight at 25:00 GMT or 8 central time for me.
