View Full Version : A question about the next update

Hello!

First, I want to sincerely thank the team that has made this game-experience possible. The improvement in every aspect of the game, graphics, rpg-immersion, game-play, historical feeling, documentation, etc., is fantastic. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it in a modification before and I'm afraid I can't go back to any other RTW-mod after this!

Now to my question.
There has been mention of a future 1.1 update, including, among other things, First Cohorts (with an aquilifier, I hope?) for the Romans. What is the chance of that update, and the First Cohorts in particular, of being save game compatible?

I'm asking to know whether I should start a Roman campaign, or rather play some other of the fantastic factions. I am quite deep (around 210 BC) into a Koinon Hellenon campaign, but I would like to see what the Romani have to offer as well, and be able to eventually have the First Cohorts... :)

Again, thank you for this!

Ps. I'm glad you are looking to make a mod for Paradox's up-coming Europa Universalis: Rome. That will be some game, I'm hoping. Ds.

The chance of savegame compatibility is 0, sorry. Also it will likely take a while.

There is plenty of good stuff to make a Romani campaign worthwhile already, though. Personally I think all the factions are interesting, so if you prefer to wait you have many others to enjoy in the meantime.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply, now I know.

I might try to mod in a FC+aquilifier on my own, but I can't seem to be able to find an aquilifier-model and skin around, worthy of EB.

I'll look some more. And either way, there is a lot to explore outside of Rome anyway!

Cheers!
