I am attacking that city wt a army of the Carthaginian Republic composed of two generals, two cetreati, two liby-poeni, one libyan cav, one curisi, one loricati cetreati, one caellice (dont now how to spell), and one golberi curoas.
Tried to go to battle then whn the battle map is loading it crashes and goes back to windows.
My system is a Pentium D 925 3.0, 1GB ram, 250 GD hd (sata), ATI radeon xpress 1100 with 256 mb.
I tried the attack many times and from diferent saves, tried it without the script, etc, but the result was the same.
Could not locate the saved game file to upload, looked inside my saved game files and there was nothing, where is it now?
You need to step into EB/saves, not just saves :2thumbsup:.

Is the barbarian stonewall "Clavomallo" with a town hall building other than barbarian the source of (the) CTD(s)?
Hi Leão magno and Bovi.
First of all my deepest respect & congratulation for this beautiful mod!:flowers:
I'm playing since 0.74 (@ Bovi and the EB-Team) and it's still amazing & thrilling!
I especially like Xanthippos and his spartans popping up as a big surprise!
I've suffered also a CTD with Arsé playing the Carthagian Republic.
I've managed to get Arsé without a battle (by starving out with a full stack army. Hey, Carthage has the money.~:)
Maybe it’s a possibility for Leão magno too, to prevent/bypass a CTD as long it isn’t fixed.
I got a constant CTD (my first in 1.0) when having a close look at my city Arsé (viewing settlement details & zooming in).
So because there is no battle (no trait or soldier-model conflict) I strongly suppose a bug which has to do with showing the 3D-buildings
(also in the battles for the city Arsé). Perhaps someone of the team could verify my theory and hopefully fix it! :juggle2:
I found out, that one possible source for the CTD (and maybe other CTDs) could be the new stone fortress "Clavomallo" for the barbarians combined with a town hall of another culture type. When the programs tries to show this combination in 3D (city-battle or viewing the city) it crashes.
In my game, the eleutheroi built a "Megaron Archontos" (Archons Mansion) culture: western greek. Right at the beginning of a new campaign it's a barbarian town-hall in Arsé. I got no CTD when I attacked it right at the beginning starting a new test-campaign as carthage and attacking Arsé with Hamilkar in turn 2.
I found out, that it also doesn't crash after i upgraded the "Clavomallo" to a "Qirot'Abanim Golim" (Large Stone Wall) and still having a western greek town hall.
(In my game just type in the console process_cq "Arsé" and you get a large stone Wall as well as other buildings in Arsé).
In the opposite it does crash after upgrading the town hall (from western greek to carthagian and still having a "Clavomallo". (I Incremented Arsé’s population to 12000 man and upgraded the town hall to the second highest by cheating for testing purposes).
Here is my save game:http://www.file-upload.net/download-454134/ctd.sav.html
When you look at the city Arsé by viewing settlement details and viewing the town in 3D.
Perhaps I'm guessing wrong. In every case I wish Leão magno good luck with his carthagian campaign, which he perhaps can continue with my tip. And no further CTD!
(I got my CTD in 0.81 playing as Baktria pretty soon and could also give a little tip to help where the problem was so maybe here too. In 1.0 I played hours without any CTD and it is a much more complex and ripe version! So thanks a lot again! I know, you guys will fix this one soon too with a little help from your patient fans)
I wish the EB-Team good luck in killing the few remaining bugs! :2thumbsup:

I encountered this CTD last night as well. I initially invaded Arsé while it was still a barbarian town and was soundly defeated (note to self: VH battles really are stupid). Then I invaded with another army when it had turned into a Greek town and it CTDed when the loading bar had reached about 1cm or so. I have a feeling the issue is a missing model/textures file for the barbarian walls in Greek cities.

It may be so but I had not conquered the city before and did not noticed if the Eleutheroi had bult such gov building but surely they had the Clavomallo, your theory seems right, I just autocalculated that battle (damm it would be a real fight) and continued to control the world, thanks! Anyway, I wish that Eb team can take a look at.
Please try the new fix linked in my sig. And, of course, thanks a lot for a very detailed report, those are the best kind!
I'd like to thank Irnerius for the very detailed report it helped a lot in tracking this down... still was a :furious3: to fix but I hope the Oppida is now rock-solid...:beam:
