The man has no command-inducing traits, but has apparently been gaining one command star every turn he's been around (he started at zero). Does anybody know what's going on with him?

We award a couple merely for being an AI general, as hidden traits. Can't remember how much though.

Do they accumulate each turn? Like I said, the guy started out at 0-Stars, then the next turn was 1-Star, and so forth...

Yup, in 0.81 at least could end up with 7 I think I once had without there being any vissible traits.

You are intelegent, the AI gets stars...
