How do I take screenshots, and where do I find them after Ive taken them?

you dont, you press Print Scrn, next to F12 (and above insert).Then yu press esc. when the battle is paused, press ALT+TAB, open a picture editing progrma (Paint will do fine) and then just Paste (CTRL+V) in Paint.
Save the picture, and return to MTW http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif.

btw. check out the link in my signature,
just added human units to the post.

Alternatively you could press F2 in the game, and find the files in the tga directory.

That would be the best option indeed...you can take as many shots as you wish without having to alt+tab and risk a crash. Theyre saved in Truevision targa format (TGA) which can be edited and/or saved in jpg format in any decent graphics package such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.
