Talk about embarrassing defeat! I lost two armies to the Boii! That place is harder to take than most faction-owned province! :clown:

On another note, Koinon Hellenon is a lot easier than I thought it would be when I first started. Thank you Makedon for not taking Athens with that Stack of God! :smash:

I always wondered why Antigos just doesn't plow through. Although one of my KH games he siege Athens with that full stack so I had to siege both Corinthos and another city of his to get him to pull back.

This province is really one tough nut to crack. Didn't manange it, and short after, the Getai, who have expended to the northwest, attacked me (they decided to invade my land after THEY lost their full stack in a battle against the Boii, which didnt suffer much more than 100 losses, haha!), so with my two armies I rather decided to take some Getai provinces than losing them against the Boii. I might defeat them once, but they have another stack lurking around. :drama1:
However, this adds more depth and tense to Sweboz games. I like it.

Yeah, I think to take it I'll need two good armies, probably with a few of the better armed Celtic mercenaries. I'll have to attack the city and the roving army in quick succession. If I can do that, I can win the province.

I completely underestimated the power of Celtic axemen. They looked conspicuously like construction workers. :clown:

Also, the Baltic spearmen have green hair in my game. :P

when playing Getai i use the Lugii and Boii as a buffer against inevitable Sweboz expansion...

Same here. They are so powerful it give a great buffer for all western European factions. They are so powerful that the Sweboz instead of expanding east prefer to go to war the the Averni and Aedui. Never saw that until 1.0:2thumbsup:
